MEET YOUR CC SENIOR FUND EXECUTIVE BOARD
Grace is from the Bay Area, CA. She's majoring in Political Science and concentrating in Sociology. Throughout her time at Columbia, she has been involved in Columbia Athletics as the captain of the archery team and past president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Greek life as the past Vice President of Recruitment for Sigma Delta Tau, and Columbia Spectator as Associate Design Editor. She's pumped to connect with the Class of 2015 as the Senior Fund Chair.
Jocelyn is studying Psychology with a special concentration in Business Management. On campus, she is captain of the Women's Rowing Team, a Columbia College Student Ambassador, on the Dining Committee, and a sister of Sigma Delta Tau. She is from Taipei, Taiwan.
Allie is from Los Angeles and is majoring in American Studies and English. Devoting her time at Columbia to the performing arts, she has produced shows for the King's Crown Shakespeare Troupe, the Columbia Musical Theatre Society, and The 120th Annual Varsity Show, and has performed with Latenite, XMAS!, CMTS, and in The 118th Annual Varsity Show. Allie is President of the Columbia University Performing Arts League, Media Chair of KCST, and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta.
Andrew is majoring in Economics and History & Theory of Architecture, and he is thrilled to be a part of the Senior Fund. On campus, he is president of Design for America, a group of social entrepreneurs working together to tackle local issues in economics, health, environment, and education. He has also been a part of the Spec, URC, Community Impact, and the Varsity Show. His favorite restaurant in MoHi is Koronets and his preferred form of social media is Instagram.
Margaret hails from Princeton, N.J. and majors in political science and sociology. Margaret serves as vice president of initiatives at Columbia/Barnard Hillel and a member of the The Columbia Spectator's editorial board. She also represents Columbia College on the University's Education Policy and Planning Committee, and conducts research in the political science department. Margaret is a major foodie and enjoys providing snacks for anyone who is willing to sit down and eat.
Pria is majoring in Neuroscience and concentrating in French. On campus she is involved with Student Ambassadors and the Global Recruitment Committee. She's originally from Sydney, Australia but sadly does not have an accent because she grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where she once babysat and orangutan for three months!
Anais is an English Chinese-American who grew up in Hong Kong. She has been actively involved in campus life, as president of Bacchanal and a member of the debate team. Her favorite moments on campus are during Bacchanal, when the student body comes together to come alive. She can be seen in and around campus donning a panda hoodie while reading about 20th century U.S. history.
Ryan is an Economics Major in Columbia College and serves as the Outreach Chair for CC Senior Fund 2015. Hailing from New Hampshire, he is involved on campus with the Alternative Break Program, Columbia College Student Council, and the Columbia Bartending Agency. It's senior year, and he looks forward to working with Senior Fund and the Class of 2015 to have an excellent last year and showing support for our Alma Mater.
Eliot is a Middle Eastern Studies major who loves cheap Chinese food and Curb Your Enthusiasm. During his time at Columbia, Eliot has been a COÖP leader, a columnist for the Columbia Political Review, and a frequent of intramural soccer. He is also the president of a new (and upcoming!) campus organization called Dorm Room Diplomacy.
Diarra is a Sociology major with a special concentration in Business Management. On campus she is the President of the Columbia Chapter of the NAACP, a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta, and has served as a member of the Women's Club Volleyball team and worked for the Daily Spectator. Diarra hails from West Orange, NJ. Her favorite moments on campus have been spent meeting friends on Low steps and recognizing scenes shot on campus from Law and Order S.V.U.
Thabet is an Economics major from Princeton Junction, NJ. He's a member of LionFund, Columbia's student-run investment fund. Additionally, he's a member of the Lightweight Crew team and has been since his freshman year. Thabet also a brother in Sigma Phi Epsilon. Outside of school he enjoys playing poker, hiking, and running.
